Pacific’s Leland new board director for Golden Bear Insurance Co.
Ted Leland, vice president of external relations and athletic director at University of the Pacific, has joined the board of directors of Golden Bear Insurance Co., a full-service property and casualty insurance company based in Stockton.
Leland, with more than 20 years of experience in collegiate fundraising, athletics and program development and growth, will help direct Golden Bear’s enterprise risk management endeavors.
Previously, he was Pacific’s vice president of university advancement where he reorganized the university’s annual giving operation and helped secure the largest donation in the school’s history.
