Kim Moody is an experienced claims leader with 20 years of insurance and legal experience, with a focus on catastrophic property and casualty claims. Areas of expertise includes excess and umbrella general liability, labor law,  commercial auto/ trucking, gas and oil, products, multinational claims, trial monitoring,  managing outside counsel and building teams of result-orientated claims adjusters.  Currently, Kim is Vice President of Claims. Prior to joining Golden Bear, Kim was Head of Complex P&C Claims at AXIS Insurance Company where she provided oversight on the highest exposure claims and severity trials.  Kim also was a Vice President of Excess Claims at ACE/Chubb Insurance Company where she handled complex severity claims. Kim’s insurance career started with AIG where she handled environmental claims.  Kim began her career as an Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn, New York and then transitioned to a civil trial attorney, focusing on insurance defense and insurance fraud.
