Tom Jurgens Senior Vice President - Casualty
Tom Jurgens joined the company June 2023 in the role of Senior Vice President – Casualty. In this position he leads the strategic and operational functions for primary and excess casualty underwriting at Golden Bear. He brings 40 years of industry experience and underwriting expertise to this newly created role.
Tom held several leadership and executive positions in his 28 years with Nationwide including his most recent role as senior vice president of brokerage and P&C programs for Nationwide E&S. Prior positions included chief underwriting officer for Nationwide Agribusiness and regional contract binding director for Scottsdale Insurance.
He holds a Bachelors degree in Insurance from the University of Northern Colorado and an ASLI designation.
